Help
Rally Round gives a club a page for each thing it puts on, and the people around it. Reading needs nothing. The first thing you do that needs to know who you are asks for a first name and an email, and that is the whole sign-up. These pages say how each part works, in the order you will meet it.
How it fits together
Left to right is the order things happen. Each bar is a guide: press it for the steps. A club's work comes first, and a guest's begins once the page is public.

A club puts on something worth turning up to, and Rally Round gives it a page and the people around it.
- Sign in without a password
There is no password. An emailed link signs you in, and a passkey makes the next time one tap.
- What we keep about you, and why
A first name, an email, and a record of what you agreed to and when. That is the list.
If you were sent a link
Coming to a Moment, hosting or joining a table, cheering, and stopping the emails.
- Say you would love to come
One tap on the Moment’s page, one email to confirm, and you are on the list.
- Host a table
A table is a link you share. Your people join it one at a time, each with their own name, and you see who is sitting with you.
- Join a table from a captain’s link
Someone hosting a table sent you a link. Opening it and saying yes seats you with them.
- Cheer or comment on a post
If you were at a Moment, or have confirmed you are coming, you can cheer and comment on what the club posts about it, under your first name.
- Stop a club’s emails
One press on the link at the foot of the email, and that club stops writing to you.
If you run a club
From a blank browser to a published page, a committee, a list, and the night itself.
- Start your club
A club name, your first name and your email. One link, and the club is yours to run.
- Create, preview and publish a Moment
The facts go in as a draft only your committee can see. When they are all real, one press makes the page public.
- Invite your committee
Anyone on the committee can do everything you can. Add them by first name and email, and they confirm one link.
- Import last year’s list
A spreadsheet of who came and who gave becomes the people on your next Moment, with what each of them may be told.
- Tell people: the announcement
One email to everyone who said the club may write to them, sent in small batches you press for, with a stop link on every copy.
- Post an update
A post is the club saying one thing about a Moment, in your name. It goes on the page, and to the list if you say so.
- Open comments and cheers
Reactions on a Moment are closed until an organiser opens them, because the network does not yet know who is a child.
- Prize donors, sponsors and the to-do list
Every conversation with a donor or a sponsor is written down as it happens, so nobody asks the same business twice and nothing is typed from memory later.
- See who is coming
The console lists everyone who said they would love to come, by first name, with whether they confirmed and which table they are at.
Ask a person
For anything about a club's Moment, ask the club. Reply to the email that sent you the link, or use the enquiries link on the Moment's page where there is one.
